“Mr. Zang’s Dojo”

Details:

“Mr. Zang’s Dojo” is a 3D animation project I made during my Spring 2022 semester at Georgia State University. The goal of the project was to create a Rube Goldberg Machine. If you aren’t familiar with a Rube Goldberg machine, it is a contraption made to perform a simple task in an overly complex way. It is named after Reuben Goldberg, an American cartoonist who was known for depicting complicated contraptions that perform a simple task. The simple task I made my contraption complete is to strike a gong and make it go off. I utilized the physics engine inside of iClone along with rigid body physics props, constraints, animations, camera switches, and 3d models to create my Rube Goldberg Machine.
